Whole school priorities for 2022 to 2023
Covid-19 continues to have a presence in our school community.
At school we continue to implement strategies to help minimise the risk. The children have access to hand sanitation stations throughout school and we continue to promote good hygiene practices.
Current NHS guidance
If a child or young person aged 18 or under tests positive for COVID-19, they should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 3 days. This starts from the day after they did the test. Once they feel well enough to do so and they do not have a high temperature they can return to school on day four.
For staff, should they test positive, current guidance is 5 days self-isolation. As always, we will try to keep disruption to a minimum and provide cover using staff within school. As an inclusive school community all staff are familiar to all children.
